Reva Jones, Steward Fairview Riverside and former Chair of the MNA Racial Diversity Committee
[Chris’s] emphasis on intentionally mentoring the next generation of leaders truly stands out. I’ve seen firsthand how [he] champions this, notably through exemplary support for the Racial Diversity Committee. The decision to empower the RDC leadership to provide impact educational opportunities such as the transformational trip to Selma Alabama was particularly significant. This action powerfully demonstrated his commitment to cultivating a wider base of informed and engaged leaders, directly aligning with his stated goal of ensuring not just one or two but dozens of leaders for our future.

We need strong and consistent leadership to guide us through these next years. I believe [Chris] can provide that leadership. We need to finds ways to engage and fire up our Union members and really remind them that the Union is not “MNA” but that it is us standing together to fight for each other, our profession, and our patients. He has lead with conviction, encouraged inclusivty, shown accountability, educated without alienating, and preached unity and support.
